A man is seriously injured after a chase ended with a crash in Ellis County.

Ellis police were chasing 29-year-old Kyle Williams of Abilene on Old Highway 40 on Monday night when Williams left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

Williams was taken to Hays Medical Center for treatment.
