The Kansas Department of Labor is under new leadership.

Governor Laura Kelly announced yesterday that she has appointed Brett Flachsbarth as acting secretary of the labor department.

Flachsbarth, who currently serves as the Kansas Department of Labor’s deputy secretary, will lead the department until a permanent secretary is hired.
