Meztli is a seventh grader at Lakewood Middle School. She is a member of the track team, Scholars Bowl and the Yearbook Club. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Boggs because of how understanding he is and how he encourages students to reach their full potential. Outside of school, Meztli attends the Xcel program and loves being part of her Xcel “family.” After high school, she plans to attend law school and focus on taking care of her family. Some fun facts about Meztli include that she enjoys debating various topics, has a dog named Panda and has three sisters and one brother.
