Police are investigating after a commercial business is damaged.

Police say a burglary may have been prevented by a strong steel door on a building at 1906 S. Broadway.

The owner contacted SPD after noticing damage done to the door and frame of the structure.

Police say someone tried to pry the door open sometime between April 26th and May 3rd.

Total damage is listed at $1,000.
