The concession stand at Bill Burke Park was vandalized over the weekend.

According to Police Captain Paul Forrester, city staff contacted authorities after discovering someone had spray painted derogatory words and pictures on the walls of the snack stand at the ball fields on E. Crawford.

Black spray paint was also used to cover a sign and vandalize a fence at the park.

Damage is estimated at $1,200.
