A vehicle’s window is broken by BB gun fire in west Salina.

Police are investigating a damage to property case after someone hit a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo with repeated shots from a BB gun.

Police report that sometime between midnight Saturday and 6:30am Monday someone used a BB gun to break the car’s back window and pepper the driver’s door while the car was parked at a home in the 800 block of Birch.

Damage is estimated at $500.
