A bomb threat prompted the brief evacuation, and closure of a North Salina truck stop.
According to Salina Police, staff at the Petro II on N. 9th Street received an automated telephone call Tuesday night. The call warned that a bomb had been hidden in the facility, and that it would explode at anytime.
The facility was evacuated, and police and firefighters responded. Nothing was found during a search, and the business re-opened.
The business was closed for less than an hour during the incident.
