An 11-year-old Salina boy is arrested after allegedly threatening a group of children with a knife.
Officers were called to the playground at Coronado Elementary, 518 E. Neal, on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm after an argument turned violent.
Police say the boy pulled out a butterfly knife with a 4-inch blade and waved it at the group, a 9-year-old boy and girl and two 11-year-old girls, who also told officers he threatened to go home and get a gun.
The boy was charged with four counts of aggravated assault and four counts of criminal threat and released to his parents.
