A Salina man discovers that his detached garage is broken into, and his tools are stolen.

Salina Police are investigating a burglary in the 800 block of Merrill that occurred sometime between Sunday night at 8pm and Tuesday night at 11pm.

Police say someone forced open the walk-in door on the garage and removed multiple tools including Snap-on brand Ethos diagnostic scanner, a drill, power wrench, fuel pressure kit plus a 22-inch flat screen TV.

Total loss and damage is listed at $4,770.
