Police in Abilene are alerting the public about  money circulating that is not real money.

According to the agency, on multiple occasions last week, individuals have attempted to pass fake $100 bills at Abilene businesses. The bills are not counterfeit but rather movie prop money.

The agency advises businesses to take time to educate employees on spotting these types of bills. Do not hesitate to contact police if you believe you have received one.
