A man was hurt after crashing during a high speed pursuit.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 39-year-od Allen Harroald from Wichita was driving a 1993 Chevrolet Camaro, fleeing from Geary County Sheriff Deputies.

While headed north on U.S. 77 Highway Harroald failed to negotiate a curve. The Camaro struck a guard rail and overturned several times.

Harroald was ejected and suffered serious injuries. He was transported to a Topeka hospital.

The chase and crash happened Wednesday night at around 10:30 about 12 miles north of Junction City on U.S. 77 Highway.
