A child was killed in a farming accident Saturday afternoon.

According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a farm in western Reno County on 82nd Road for a farming accident. Upon arrival They found a 22-month -old male who had been run over by a tractor doing farming operations.

The child was deceased upon arrival of the Deputies.

The name of the child was not immediately released.
