Salina Police are investigating after vandals damaged the exterior of a church.

Police say sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning, someone spray painted the outside walls of a storage area at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, and also splattered the walls with a bucket of yellow paint.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that vandals also discharged a fire extinguisher inside a school bus at the church.

Damage is estimated at $1,065.
