Salina Police are looking for a white male suspect who passed a counterfeit $100 bill at Popeyes Chicken at 2125 N. 9th on Thursday afternoon and stole the change.

Police say he ordered a $12 meal and paid with the bogus bill.

He then entered Starbucks Coffee in the same complex and attempted to purchase a $6 coffee by passing another counterfeit $100.

The clerk was suspicious of the bill – he then used legal tender to pay and left on foot.

Police describe the man as a twenty-something, 6-foot tall with an athletic build, brown hair and brown eyes.
