A mother and her boyfriend are charged in the death of a Wichita child whose body was found encased in concrete.

Miranda Miller and Stephen Bodine were each charged yesterday with first-degree murder in the death of Miller’s son, three-year-old Evan Brewer.

The child’s remains were found September 2nd inside a Wichita home where his mother once lived.

Evan Brewer was the grandson of former Wichita mayor and current Democratic candidate for Kansas governor Carl Brewer.
