Alleged threatening text messages land a Salina woman in jail.
Police Captain Paul Forrester tells KSAL News that 20-year-old Krastal Gerleman was arrested on Thursday evening after an argument escalated in central Salina.
Police say she brought one of the couple’s children over to visit at a home in the 100 block of Ellsworth and an argument began. One person told officers he did not want Gerleman to drive and took the keys away.
When she allegedly sent him a number of threatening text messages police were notified.
Krastal Gerleman is now facing charges that could include making criminal threats and disorderly conduct.
