The state of Kansas will spend millions of dollars to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Governor Laura Kelly signed the state’s budget for fiscal year 2020-2021 yesterday.

The state budget includes 65-million-dollars in spending to fight the pandemic.

Kelly also urged lawmakers to show budget restraint when they return to Topeka for the wrap-up session next month.
