Kansas Congressman Ron Estes will be allowed to list his title on the ballot.

The State Objections Board yesterday approved the use of the word “Rep.” before the Fourth District congressman’s name on the Republican Primary ballot.

The move is being made to avoid confusion with challenger and political newcomer Ron M. Estes, who is not related to the congressman.

Kansas’ primary election will take place August 7th.
