Salina Police are investigating after some counterfeit bills are passed around Salina.

Three Salina business reported they received counterfeit money over the weekend.

Kwik Shop on W. Schilling Rd. reported a purchase of a $400 prepaid Visa card around 11 pm on July 26th. The card was paid with four $100 counterfeit bills.

They also reported receiving two counterfeit $20 bills around 4 pm on the 27th.

Braum’s on S. Ohio reported receiving three counterfeit $20 bills during business hours on the 26th.

While Rod’s on S. Santa Fe reported around 12:30 on the 27th they were given two counterfeit $20 bills.
