Five people are dead following a head-on crash on Interstate-70.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a pickup was traveling the wrong way on I-70 when it crashed into van near Maple Hill about 6:30 yesterday morning.

Four people in the van and one person in the truck were killed.

One other person in the van was taken to a hospital with critical injuries, and the deadly crash is under investigation.
