Salina Police are investigating a theft from a local construction company.

Authorities say Ponton Construction, located at 1325 Armory fired an employee on March 14.

Days later the known suspect allegedly used the company’s Lowe’s business account card in Texas to make four purchases totalling $9,100.

The card was denied the fifth time he tried to use it at the same store.
