A former detention officer is facing charges he had sex with inmates under his care.

On Thursday, Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents arrested 42-year-old Frank Alexander on two counts of unlawful sexual relations.

The allegations against the Russell, Kansas man were raised in October.

Alexander was fired from his job in early November.
