Junction City Police are investigating the shooting death of a Ft. Riley soldier.

The 26-year-old soldier was found dead inside an apartment in the 1700 block of north Park Dr. Monday morning.
Police say he died from a single gunshot wound, and that an autopsy has been scheduled, but would not release any other details

The name of the solider is being withheld pending notification of family.
