An alleged poacher in Kansas is facing charges.
According to the Kansas Department of Wildlife Parks and Tourism game wardens spoiled a poacher’s plan. Back on November 26th, game wardens were staked out, waiting for a poacher to return and collect his illegal take.
When the suspected poacher returned and only removed the head, he was greeted appropriately by a United States Fish and Wildlife Service Officer and a Kansas Game Warden.
Multiple charges are now pending in Linn County related to taking a trophy class buck deer with a rifle during closed firearms season, no deer permit, wanton waste of deer, and hunting on private property without permission.
