Kansas highways are getting millions of dollars in improvements.

Governor Laura Kelly was in Fort Scott yesterday where she announced that 34 cities across the state will receive more than 28-million-dollars for improvements to the State Highway System.

The funding is being awarded through the City Connecting Link Improvement Program, which is administered by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
