The governor of Kansas is fighting back to limit church gatherings.

Laura Kelly has asked the state’s Supreme Court to keep her ban in place.

She ordered all religious gatherings to no more than ten people on Tuesday to slow the spread of coronavirus. But lawmakers overturned that.

Now, she’s suing them. Kelly calls their vote “mind-blowing” and a “purely political move.”
