A bipartisan tax cuts package is signed into law in Kansas.

Governor Laura Kelly signed Senate Bill One during a ceremony yesterday in Olathe.

The bill provides Kansas residents nearly two billion dollars in tax cuts over the next five years, eliminates state taxes on Social Security income and reduces property taxes by increasing the residential property tax exemption to $75,000 dollars.
