A thief entered an unlocked vehicle and helped themselves to a pistol.

Salina Police report that sometime between 6pm Friday and 5pm Saturday, someone entered an unlocked 2001 Ford Focus that was parked in the 700 block of Wood and stole a Walther PPK/S .380 caliber handgun.

Loss is listed at $650.
