Saline County Sheriff Deputies are investigating the burglary of a rural home.

According to Captain Roger Soldan, sometime Tuesday morning between 6:15 and 9:45, a home at 1785 West Shipton Road was broken into. Entry was gained by forcing open an egress window.

Items taken include:

• Kimber .45 handgun with 4″ barrel
• Kimber .45 handgun with 5″ barrel
• Ruger .44 Magnum Super Black Hawk handgun
• Ruger .22 Model 10 rifle with scope
• binoculars
• Harley Davidson Watch
• Assorted Jewelry

Total loss and damage is estimated at $6,620.
