Kansas State has unveiled plans for a $65 million renovation of the north side of the football stadium that will break ground after the upcoming season and be ready for 2015.
The project, funded through private donations, was revealed before Saturday’s spring game. It comes less than a year after Kansas State finished a $90 million project to rebuild the press box and suites on the west side of Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
The north side of the stadium houses the academic learning center, which will double in size, and strength and conditioning spaces. It also includes the locker rooms, which will be completely renovated, along with coaching offices and team meeting spaces.
The seating bowl will also be renovated to better fit with the rest of the stadium.
