A Kansas man is dead following a plane crash in Nebraska.

A Cessna went down in a pasture northeast of Chambers, Nebraska, on Tuesday afternoon killing the pilot, 69-year-old Mark Gietzen of Wichita.

Gietzen was chairman of the Kansas Coalition for Life, which is an anti-abortion group.

The cause of the plane crash is under investigation.
