Members of the Kansas National Guard are headed to the U.S. border with Mexico.

The Kansas Adjutant General’s Office announced yesterday that guardsmen will work with the Arizona National Guard’s Customs Border Patrol Southwest Border Operations.

State officials have not said how many guardsmen will be sent to the southwest border states.
