A man wanted for attempted first degree murder – turns himself into police.
According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, 32-year-old Reginald Easterwood walked into the Salina Police Department on Monday and surrendered to authorities.
Police had an active warrant for the Kansas City, Kansas man who allegedly used a small caliber handgun to shoot a Salina man in June after a disturbance at the Howard Johnson Inn on E. Daimond Drive.
Police say back on June 28th, 34-year-old Shane Salyards was transported to the ER at Salina Regional Health Center to be treated for a gunshot wound to his right side.
Easterwood was booked into the Saline County Jail on 1 count of first degree murder.
