KSAL Honored as Station of the Year

Alpha Media radio station News Radio 1150 KSAL was honored Monday as the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Medium Market Radio Station of the Year.

The association handed out its 2015 Awards of Excellence during a banquet at the Oread Hotel on the campus of the University of Kansas Monday night. KSAL staff members earned 11 awards.

According to the KAB, 719 entries were submitted by broadcasters from across the state. The entries were judged by the Illinois Association of Broadcasters.
