The Kansas Department of Labor is working to fix its unemployment website.

Officials say the mainframe crashed on Monday, but was up and running yesterday. The unemployment website was taken down for maintenance twice yesterday.

More than 100-thousand people in Kansas filed for unemployment this week, and lawmakers are afraid technology issues will also be a problem for the state’s four-decade-old phone system over the next few weeks.
