Kansas is taking home the top prize in an annual pancake flipping event.

Nine Liberal, Kansas, residents took part in the International Pancake Day race yesterday and defeated their opponents from Olney, England, by three seconds.

The event, which is in its 69th year, features women from Liberal taking on women from Olney on a 415-yard course while flipping a pancake with a skillet.
