In an effort to bolster its defense, the Salina Liberty announce the signing of Kendrick Harper. Harper, a 5’9″, 180lb defensive back, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Liberty’s defensive backfield.
Harper played collegiately at Butler County Community College, then played for the Kansas Jayhawks. As a member of the Jayhawks, Harper was part of a team that registered a record of 20 wins and just 6 losses, and two bowl appearances.
Harper joins the Salina Liberty after a long stint in Wichita, both as a member of the Wichita Wild and the Wichita Force. In addition, he had a short stint with the Philadelphia soul of the AFL.
Currently 2-2 in CIF play this season, the Liberty travel to Sioux City this Saturday to take on the Bandits.
