A man is charged after he allegedly attempted to enter a Wichita area school with a loaded gun.

Thirty-seven-year-old Billy Jack Daniels appeared in court this week and was charged with misdemeanor criminal use of weapons and criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

Authorities say Daniels tried to enter Stone Creek Elementary in Derby with a gun on November 22nd, 2022, before being stopped by police.
