A Salina man is arrested after officers forced a door open at a home to end a domestic dispute.
Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that officers responded to a home in the 600 block of N.12th Street on Thursday afternoon just before 1pm to the report of a man threatening two occupants inside with a handgun.
Police say 55-year-old Franklin Price was blocking the door when they arrived and would not allow officers to come in.
He allegedly had entered the home uninvited and pointed a BB-gun at a 46-year-old female and a 24-year-old male.
A short time later police broke through the door, found the air gun and arrested Price.
He’s now facing charges of domestic battery and aggravated assault.
