A Salina man has been arrested in connection with an alleged forgery.

Police say that 27-year-old Patrick Dale cashed a $500 check that did not belong to him. The check was a refund check from Saline County.

The check was being sent to a 35-year-old woman who had moved. It was sent to her previous address instead of her new address. The woman and Dale were not acquaintances.

Dale could face charges that include forgery, and theft.
