A Nebraska man was injured in a crash involving a deer on Interstate 70 west of Salina early Tuesday morning .
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 65-year-old Julian Gonzalez Lopez of Lexington, Nebraska, was driving a 2010 Dodge Charger, headed east on Interstate 70. He struck a deer that entered the road from the south.
Gonzalez Lopez, who was buckled up, was hurt. He was transported to Salina Regional Health Center.
The crash happened at 6:40 Tuesday morning, 9 miles west of the Salina 9th Street exit on Interstate 70.
