A Salina elementary school will have a new principal to beging the school year next fall.

According USD 305 Public Schools, Angela Dorzweiler will be the Oakdale Elementary School Principal effective July 2015.

Dorzweiler has been a public educator for 12 years, most recently serving as lead teacher at Schilling Elementary School since the fall of 2009. Prior to this she served as 4th grade teacher, Title I teacher and EPT planning time teacher.

From Kansas State University, Dorzweiler earned her Bachelor of Science as well as a master’s in education administration and leadership. She also possesses a master’s in education from Baker University.

The principal position at Oakdale is open following Carmen Flax’s move to director of assessment and elementary programs at Salina USD 305.
