A new seating capacity is announced at Allen Fieldhouse at the University of Kansas.

KU Athletics officials announced yesterday that the second phase of a 50-million-dollar renovation project will feature more chairback seats and additional Americans with Disabilities Act seating.

The renovations have reduced seating capacity at the 70-year-old basketball arena by one-thousand seats to 15-thousand-300.
