Kansas City will host an upcoming NFL Draft.
The NFL announced on Thursday afternoon at their owners’ meetings that the city of Kansas City, MO will host the NFL’s premiere off-season event in 2023. Cleveland was also awarded the event for 2021.
The NFL Draft had been traditionally held in New York City for several years until 2015 when the NFL moved the draft party to Chicago. Chicago hosted once again in 2016, Philadelphia hosted in 2017 and Dallas in 2018. This past year’s draft event was held in Nashville where an estimated 600,000 fans attended.
No specific location in Kansas City was mentioned where the 2023 NFL Draft will be held at the time of the announcement.
