There was no jackpot winner in Saturday night’s $300 million Powerball drawing.
According to the lottery, the estimated jackpot for Wednesday is $400 million. The cash option is $230.3 million. Both of those numbers could likely rise within the next couple of days.
The winning numbers Saturday were 21, 24, 36, 42 and 45; the Powerball was 15.
While $400 million is a large jackpot, it is not a record. Earlier this year an 84-year-old woman in Florida won $590 million.
The odds of matching all six numbers and winning the jackpot are 1 in 175.2 million.
Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball tickets are sold in Kansas everywhere Kansas Lottery tickets are sold.
