Alice Jean Ryan, 70, of Salina, passed away Tuesday Sept. 17, 2024. She was born December 2, 1953, in Salina, the daughter of Winfred (Wayne) Ayers, and Betty Ayers (Bisby). Alice and her brother, Charles, were raised in Salina.
Alice was married in 1983 to the love of her life, John Ryan. Together they had two sons, Matthew Ryan, and Patrick Ryan.
For almost 30 years, Alice worked at Philips Lighting as an operator and in Quality Control.
Alice was a firecracker, she loved cooking for her family and was famous for her Cowboy Beans. She liked camping at Milford Lake, and she absolutely adored her grandson, Maverick.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Betty, and daughter-in-law, Emily Eck.
She is survived by her husband, John, sons, Matthew (Bri), and Patrick Ryan. Brother, Charles Ayers, and grandson, Maverick.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St., Salina. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Ryan Mortuary, with burial following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Solomon.
Please join the family at a luncheon, after burial to share memories, at the VFW, 1108 W Crawford St, Salina, KS. Memorials can be made to VFW or to the family for a memorial tree.
Alice was so deeply loved, and she will be so deeply missed.
