Anthony “Tony” Paul Bosco, Jr., 79, died January 14, 2024, surrounded by family.
Tony was born on March 24, 1944, in Bryn Mar, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Our Lady of Mercy Highschool in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Tony enlisted in the Air Force at age 21 and worked in publications during the Vietnam War. During his time in the Air Force, he met his wife, Yvonna, and they were married on February 11, 1967, in Topeka, Kansas. After being honorably discharged Tony pursued a career in electrical work and became a member of the IBEW #661 Hutchinson. Tony and Yvonna owned and operated Salina Electric for 11 years.
Outside of work Tony was also a Harley Davidson enthusiast and member of the Harley Davidson Club traveling to rallies all over the US and owning multiple Harley’s. Tony also loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Yvonna, sons Anthony “Paul” (Tammy) and Richard “RJ” (Sherry) as well as his grandchildren Skylar (Matt) Hanson, Caitlin, Antonia (Nick) Webb, Mackenzie, and Luke, his brother Rick (Jackie) and sister Charlotte. He also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren. Tony was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Elaine and his grandson Tyler Rhea.
A funeral service in memory of Anthony Paul Bosco, Jr. will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Salina, Kansas.
