Aubrey W. Bostwick, 99, of Salina, passed away October 7, 2020. He was born November 27, 1920 to John C. and Nannie (McCullough) Bostwick in Hoyt, Kansas. He married Marjorie Bunge on September 5, 1948. They were married for 67 years until her death in 2016.
Aubrey served in the 908th Signal Corp during WWII and then received a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from K-State University. He enjoyed woodworking, cross stitching, and gardening.
Aubrey was known as a kind, compassionate, honest, hard-working person who always had a smile, a twinkle in his eye, and a knack for making people feel special.
Survivors include his daughters, Diane (Lonnie) Werth, of Salina, Verna Garrett, of Paola; grandchildren, Brandon Werth, Callie Werth, and Christopher Scott; great-grandchildren, Hailey Scott and Elijah Scott; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be planned at a later date. Memorials may be made to Trinity UMC in Salina or the American Cancer Society.
