Barry Charles Warner

Barry Charles Warner, 56, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Monday, July 1st, 2024 after a long struggle with his health.

Barry was born in Manhattan, Kansas on February 2nd, 1968 to Larry and Janice Warner. Barry attended Salina South High School and Washburn University where he excelled at football and basketball in his younger years. Barry still holds the Salina South record for most passed receptions in a game with 10 receptions passed in 1985.

Barry loved the Kansas City Chiefs and always rooted for his beloved football team. For work, Barry was a radiologic technologist for many years.

Barry was united in marriage to Debbie Peters in October of 1996. They were later divorced.

Barry is survived by his parents, Larry and Janice Warner of Lawrence, Kansas; brother Robert (Sandy) Warner of Lawrence, Kansas; daughters Peyton and Adara Warner, both of Salina, Kansas; and stepsons Zachary and Joshua Warner. He will be missed by many other friends and family members.

Barry is preceded in death by his brother David Warner and sister Donna Jensen.

A drop-in visitation will be held at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home in Salina, Kansas, on Sunday, July 21st, from 2 to 4 p.m.
