Betty Louise Hohl, 79, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was born in Salina, KS, on July 10, 1944 to Charles W. Armstrong II and Ida M. Armstrong. In her many years working at Westinghouse/Philips Lighting, she met Royal. They were married on August 11, 1977. Family was very important to her, especially being a mom and grandma. Betty was an avid quilter and baker, known for her famous sugar cookies.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John; brother, Keith; brother, Richard; brother, Charlie; sister, Rosie. Survivors include her husband, Royal; daughter, Denise; granddaughter, Kathrin; her sister, Charlotte; sister, Irene; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 11-1 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina. This is a come and go, to pay respects to family and share your favorite stories of Betty.
